Bill Clinton was accused of having sexual relations with Monica Lewinsky but on August 17, 1998! He gave his apologyy and said the accusations had been true and he was very sorry for lying
"i answered their questions truthfully, including questions about my private life, questions no American citizen would ever want to answer"(Clinton,2)after not admitting what he did wrong and denying the accusation he truthfully answered the question after lying to everyone for a what he had done.Bill Clinton apologizes for what he did,and for not admitting to it he apologizes to the united states and he says America should move on stop focusing on his private life and move on with there lives, That it wasn't a big deal & presidents have private lives just like regular people
He used red herring, instead of him talking about what he did and describing why it was wrong and so on. He ignores what he should be talking about and talks about how we should move on with our lives and stop obsessing about what he did. "Our country has been distracted by this matter for too long, and i take responsibility for my part in all of this. That is all i can do.(Clinton,16) He says our attention has been set mainly on this matters for too long and gets completely of subject and tries to talk about something else gets off topic and starts talking about something else and not the real situation.

Bill Clinton& ethos don't really go well together. He isn't a very trustworthy, honest , hes was the president there suppose to be honest,loyal and as president he isn't any of those traits. Yes he apologized but it didn't seem so sincere he probably was tiered of people bothering him he finally decided to admit to it if he hadn't been caught nobody would have never known. But since he was he tried to deny it but since every one knew he was lying he owned up to the truth.
